Tic Tac Toe PoliticsToday we are going to do something slightly different. We are going to list a series of statements and it will be your job to guess which president or prime minister of which country said so. No, we are not going to ask you to tell us when this happened, but only to tell us who said so.

This is an interesting game in two parts. A good game. The first part you will have today. The second one tomorrow. We guarantee that you will be surprised with the result. And so, let's begin (please keep in mind that some statements may have been translated from other languages into English and thus they may not reflect their exact meaning, just an approximated one). Who said:

  • Independent justice will receive all my support. There will be no [government-biased] judges.
  • This administration will fight against corruption. I shall be implacable with those who do not abide by the law.
  • We shall all together work to improve our country. I don't doubt us.
  • This administration shall work tirelessly over the next [X] years so that all citizens, especially those in dire needs, may live better when we are done.
  • We are facing enormous challenges and we won't be solving problems overnight. But the largest transformations are made with small steps every day.
  • We face an exciting challenge after so many years of useless conflicts.
  • We shall make social welfare universal so that no child remains unprotected.
  • From the bottom of my heart I tell you that if we unite we are unstoppable.
  • I want to tell you that I shall remain the same person: a simple speaker of truth.
  • The country is not divided even though there are people who think differently.
  • Educational quality guarantees national development.
  • We need everybody's help…those from the left and those from the right.
  • Let's work so that everybody may have a roof with running water and sewers. We shall develop the slumps and so we shall improve forever the lives of millions of families.

That is all. Carry on. Carry on. And see ya tomorrow!
