WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME
But why? Why is that people fall so easily for the FUHC scam? Simply because they have been brainwashed and at the same time, thinking requires effort. Let’s go to the graphs.
Fig 11
The Green Line symbolizes all the taxes paid by citizens into the FUHC system.
The Blue Line symbolizes all the taxes and out of pocket money paid by citizens into a private but regulated (somewhat subsidized) Health Care system.
The Red Line symbolizes all the out-of-pocket money people would have to pay in a 100% Private Health Care system.
And within a controlled/managed market they are probably correct. The reasons are simple. In our current system rich people pay disproportionally more than poor people. Whatever else is required for an FUHC will come out from either printing or borrowing (which may not have an effect for decades to come). So, from their point of view and in our current system and at least from some time, they are right. An FUHC is the cheapest option they have. They would have to be crazy not to accept it.
However, and there is always a however, what they don’t see because it takes training, time and effort, is what would happen in a truly free market. To the graphs!

This latter graph compares Health Care costs of Private care in a free market versus Private and Regulated (some subsidies) and FUHC costs in a controlled market.
Did you notice that in a free market the order inverts? This is so for two reasons:
- Everybody’s income is much higher
- All medical care is cheaper
This are the benefits that people can’t see, simply because they are trapped in our current system.
CONCLUSION
Any “cheap” and “universal” health care system that is developed and implemented in current controlled and managed markets is:
- Doomed to eventual failure
- Doomed to be extraordinary costly
Of course, it won’t fail immediately. It will take time to fail. In the meantime, vast amounts of wealth in the form of money will be wasted and even vaster amounts of time will be spent to no avail.
It is true that in current conditions, a Forced Universal Health Care system is better than anything else, it is however dismally poor, ineffective and inefficient when compared with a private health care in a completely free market. There is no free lunch, but we don’t see why politicians always banquet and the rest of us need to beg for scraps, when we could all be in the fine dining business.
Now you know. Spread the word, or not. You are free to make your decision. Our job is done. Until the next one!
